Monday Night Hackers Gazette

Making Mondays not suck for nearly a decade

Week Fifteen Recap

Closest Finish Ever!

Wow! In the closest finish in Hacker history, Dave Nichols holds off his arch nemesis, Tony Finke, by less than two bucks to clinch the championship and win this year's grand prize - the fabulous CARFAX CAR! Now THAT'S sandbagging, ladies and gentlemen!! You just can't do it any better than that! Dashing Donnie Walter took home first place money for the week with a stupendous 11 under par net score, plus a skin. Finke was 2nd, 4 strokes back (plus a skin,) followed by the McGoffinator in 3rd (plus a skin) and "Big Irish" McCormick, 4th. Check the Results page for all the stats.

Does Dave now have the magic formula? Can Tony get out his slide rule and figure out how to take Dave down next year? Will the Old Commish decide to tweak the handicapping system a bit next year and give some of the more consistent players a fighting chance at the title? Come back next spring to find out! I'll see most of you at the fabulous Hacker Championship on October 9th. For those of you heading to Florida (including our league champ, Dave Nichols) have a great time and hit 'em straight down there.

Another great year for the Monday Night Hackers is in the books...making Mondays not SUCK for about a decade! Peace out!
